وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ رَفَعَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ كَانَ يَدُسُّ فِي فَمِ فِرْعَوْنَ الطِّينَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ))
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Jibreel (peace be upon him) was stuffing clay into Pharaoh’s mouth, fearing that he might utter "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah).
