Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The noble son of the noble son of the noble son of the noble—Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ishaq, son of Khalilur Rahman IbrahimR. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: If I had stayed in prison as long as Yusuf (peace be upon him) stayed, and then a messenger came to me, I would have immediately accepted his word, whereas when the messenger came to Yusuf (peace be upon him), he said: Return to your master and ask him about the women who cut their hands; surely my Lord is well aware of their plot.
