It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O best among the creation?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "That was my father Ibrahim."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself is the best of mankind, the intimate friend (khalil) of Allah, and on the Day of Gathering he alone will be the leader of the people, and all people including Adam alayhis salam will be under his sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s banner. In this hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, merely out of humility and modesty, referred to Ibrahim alayhis salam as “the best of creation” (khayr al-bariyyah).
