It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the stone dwellings, he said: Do not enter the area of the people who wronged themselves, except in a state that you are weeping, lest you be afflicted by the same punishment as them. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) covered himself with his cloak while he was mounted on his ride. In another narration, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you are not in a state of weeping, then do not enter upon them, lest you be afflicted by the same punishment.
