Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not give superiority to one prophet over another.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Allah Ta'ala Himself has said: {تِلْکَالرُّسُلُفَضَّلْنَابَعْضَھُمْعَلٰیبَعْضٍ} … These are the Messengers; We have given some of them superiority over others. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 253) The meaning of this verse is that some Prophets and Messengers have greater virtue than others. Therefore, in this blessed hadith, the superiority and excellence that is prohibited refers to giving preference to one Prophet or Messenger over another in such a manner that it entails disparagement or disrespect towards any of them.
