Hadith 10292

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty created His creation, then kept them in darkness, and according to His will, took a portion from His Light and cast it upon them. According to Allah Almighty’s will, that Light reached some individuals and did not reach others. Whoever received that Light on that day was guided, and whoever was deprived of it went astray. That is why I, Abdullah, say: The pen has dried upon what is to happen.
