عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ قَرِينُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَقَرِينُهُ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ قَالُوا وَإِيَّاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَإِيَّايَ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِحَقٍّ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no person among you except that a companion from among the jinn and a companion from among the angels has been appointed with him. The people said: O Messenger of Allah! Is there one with you as well? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is with me as well, but Allah Almighty has helped me, so he only commands me to do what is right.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The angel inclines one towards goodness, and the devil incites one towards evil. In this hadith, there is also a mention of a particular characteristic of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
