. (Second chain) Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw clouds, his face would change and he would begin to go back and forth. When it started to rain, this state would leave him. When he was asked about the reason for this, he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I have no security regarding this matter; it may be that this is the very thing about which Allah Almighty said: {فَلَمَّارَاَوْہُعَارِضًامُّسْتَقْبِلَاَوْدِیَتِہِمْقَالُوْاھٰذَاعَارِض’‘ مُّمْطِرُنَابَلْھُوَمَااسْتَعْجَلْتُمْبِہٖرِیْح’‘ فِیْھَاعَذَاب’‘ اَلِیْم’‘۔} Then, when they saw the punishment as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain." (No!) Rather, it is what you were impatient for—a wind wherein is a painful punishment. (Surah Al-Ahqaf: 24)

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This verse is about the people of Hud; they were thinking that rain was about to come, but the outcome of that cloud was that { تُدَمِّرُکُلَّشَیْئٍبِاَمْرِرَبِّھَافَاَصْبَحُوْالَایُرٰٓیاِلَّامَسٰکِنُہُمْکَذٰلِکَنَجْزِیالْقَوْمَالْمُجْرِمِیْنَ۔} … which will destroy everything by the command of its Lord. Thus, they became such that nothing could be seen except their dwellings. In this way, We recompense the criminal people. (Surah Al-Ahqaf: 25)
