وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ إِنَّ الدَّهْرَ الْأَيَّامُ وَاللَّيَالِي لِي أُجَدِّدُهَا وَأُبْلِيهَا وَآتِي بِمُلُوكٍ بَعْدَ مُلُوكٍ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not speak ill of time, for Allah the Exalted has said: Verily, time—that is, the days and nights—are Mine; I bring about novelty in them and I wear them out, and I bring kings after kings.
