It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were standing in rows following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), it was the Zuhr or Asr prayer. During the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tried to grasp something and then moved so far back that the people also began to move back. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Today you did something in the prayer that you had not done before? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise was presented before me in all its brilliance and freshness, and I wanted to take a bunch of its grapes to bring to you, but then a barrier was placed in between, and if I had brought it, all the creatures in the heavens and the earth would have eaten from it, yet it would not have decreased at all. Then the Fire was presented before me, and when I felt its heat, I moved back. The majority in it were those women who, when entrusted with a secret, reveal it; when asked for something, they are stingy; when they ask, they cling; and when given something, they do not show gratitude. And I saw Lahi bin Amr in Hell, he was dragging his intestines, and to my observation, he most resembled Ma'bad bin Aktham Ka'bi. Sayyiduna Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Is there any danger for me because of this resemblance, even though he is my father? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, you are a believer and he was a disbeliever. He was the first person who incited the Arabs to idol worship.
