It is narrated from Dhamdham bin Hawas Yamani, he says: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: O Yamami! Never say to any man in this way: By Allah! Allah will not forgive you, or Allah will never admit you to Paradise. I said: O Abu Hurairah! When any of us gets angry, he says such words to his brother and companion. He said: So do not say this way, because I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: There were two men among the Children of Israel, there was brotherhood between them, one of them was very diligent in worship and the other used to wrong himself (by sinning). The worshipper used to see the other man involved in sins and would say to him: O so-and-so! Refrain (from sin), but he would say: Leave me and my Lord, have you been sent as a guardian over me? One day, the worshipper found him involved in such a sin which he considered very grave, so he said to him: O you, be ruined, refrain (from sin). He replied as usual: Leave me and my Lord, have you been sent as a guardian over me? But this time he also said: By Allah! Allah will not forgive you, or Allah will never admit you to Paradise. Allah sent an angel to both of them and took their souls, so both were gathered before Allah. Allah said to the sinner: Go and enter Paradise by My mercy, and said to the other: Did you have knowledge about Me? Were you a treasurer of what is in My hand? Take him to the Fire. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is the life of Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)! That man uttered such a word that destroyed his world and his Hereafter.
