Hadith 10169

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَابَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah Almighty will accept his repentance.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Until the sun rises from the west, the acceptance of repentance will continue, but the law regarding the acceptance of repentance for each individual has been explained in Hadith number (10167).
