عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ نَحْوَهُ وَفِيهِ ((فَإِذَا هُوَ بِهَا تَجُرُّ خِطَامَهَا فَمَا هُوَ بِأَشَدَّ بِهَا فَرَحًا مِنَ اللَّهِ بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا تَابَ))
A similar hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him), but its wording is slightly different: Thus, the mount was standing by him and pulling its reins. The happiness that Allah Almighty feels due to His servant’s repentance, this man was not happier than that.
