Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that a donkey was brought past the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which had been branded on its face and smoke was coming out of its nostrils. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who has done this? May Allah curse the one who has branded it. No person should brand on the face nor strike on the face.
