Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed effeminate men who imitate women, women who imitate men, and those men and women who adopt celibacy and say that they will not marry, and also cursed the one who rides alone in the wilderness. These matters were very burdensome for the Companions, to the extent that it became apparent from their faces. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: and the one who spends the night alone.
