Hadith 10096

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A believer is neither one who taunts, nor one who curses, nor one who uses obscene language, nor one who is foul-mouthed.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Dignity, seriousness, composure, and calmness are the adornments of people of faith. In their conduct, mannerisms, interactions, speech and actions—in short, in everything—there is moderation. Whereas the blameworthy traits mentioned in the hadith are matters contrary to faith and moderation, therefore a believer should avoid them.
