Hadith 10095

Zaid bin Aslam says that Abdul Malik bin Marwan used to send a message to Sayyida Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her), so she would spend the night with his wives and he would ask her about the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). One night Abdul Malik got up and called his maidservant. When she was late in coming, he cursed her. Upon this, Sayyida Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Do not curse, because Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, those who curse will not be witnesses nor intercessors on the Day of Resurrection.
