It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the upper area and passed by a dead baby goat with small ears. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of the kid and lifted it up, then said: "For how much would you like to buy this?" The people said: "We would not like to give anything for it. What would we do with it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: "For how much would you like to buy it?" The people said: "By Allah, even if it were alive, it would be considered defective because its ears are small, and now it is dead altogether." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Allah, the world is even more insignificant in the sight of Allah than this."
