Syedna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a mangy lamb that had been cast out by its owners. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What do you think about this lamb—would it be considered insignificant by its owners? The people replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The world is even more insignificant in the sight of Allah than this lamb is to its owners.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When Adam (alayhis salam) and Hawwa (alayhas salam) ate from the forbidden tree, their repentance was indeed accepted, but even then they were sent down to the earth and were told to strive to regain the lost inheritance. In reality, mankind was sent to this world in order to attain Paradise, not to consider the world as everything.
