It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The prayers were fifty, the ritual bath (ghusl) after major impurity was also seven times, and washing urine was also seven times. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept asking, until five prayers, one ritual bath after major impurity, and washing urine once were legislated.
