عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ ثَامِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ وَإِنَّ رِجَالًا يَتَخَوَّضُونَ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَهُمُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Narrated by Sayyida Khawla bint Thamir Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, this world is lush, green, sweet (and attractive), and those who unlawfully intrude into Allah’s wealth, for them there will be fire on the Day of Resurrection.

Benefits: … One of the bad traits found in this era is that many people, in the matter of acquiring wealth and property, do not pay attention to what is lawful (halal) and unlawful (haram).
