It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that during his final illness, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aisha! What happened to that gold?" Upon hearing this, Sayyida Aisha brought out six, seven, eight, or nine dinars. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to turn them over with his hand and said: "What would Muhammad think of Allah if He were to meet him in this state while these dinars are with him? Spend them."
