‘Amarah bin Khuzaymah says: We were with Sayyiduna ‘Amr bin al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with him) on the journey of Hajj. When we reached the place of Marr az-Zahran, we saw a woman in her howdah. In another narration: A lady’s hands were adorned and she was wearing rings, and she had placed her hands on the howdah. Then Sayyiduna ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) turned aside and entered a ravine, so we also entered with him. Then he said: We were at this place with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Suddenly, we saw a great number of crows, among them was a crow with a red beak and red feet. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Women will not enter Paradise except as few as the crow with a red beak and red feet.
