Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the world and said: Indeed, the world is lush and sweet (attractive), so beware of it and beware of women as well. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned that among the Children of Israel there were three women; two were recognized because of their tall stature, and one was not recognized because of her short stature. So she had wooden sandals made and had a ring made, in which she filled the best fragrance, musk, and had a lid made for it. Then, whenever she passed by a gathering, she would open the lid, and the fragrance would spread. The continuous narrator said that the ring would be on her left little finger, so she would tilt it towards the other three fingers and close the remaining three.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah says: It is clearly understood from this hadith that sinful (fasiq) women wear such clothing and (adopt such appearances) that people turn their gazes towards them. Even today, this affliction has become widespread: women wear high-heeled shoes and have metal (etc.) attached to the soles of their shoes so that a loud sound is produced while walking. Perhaps the Jews invented this, as is indicated by this hadith. Muslim women should avoid such shoes and clothing. And Allah is the One whose help is sought. (Sahihah: 486) Everything related to women has been made attractive and alluring, to the extent that even veils (burqas) have been heavily designed, eye-catching garments have been made, the use of perfume has become very common, and many means of adornment, beautification, and enhancement of beauty have been created. From the designs of shoes alone, one can estimate everything else.
