(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shukhair (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "You are the chief of the Quraysh." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "The chief is Allah." Then he said: "You are the best among us in terms of speech, and the most generous and kind." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Everyone should speak according to his purpose, and never let Satan make anyone subservient to himself."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When the word "leader" (sardar) is attributed to Allah Ta'ala, its meaning will be according to His majesty and greatness, and when it is attributed to the servants (i.e., people), its meaning will be according to their status. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself said: ((ANA SAYYIDU WULDI ADAM, WA LA FAKHR)) … I am the leader of the children of Adam, and I do not boast about it.
