بَابُ إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ
If you feel no shame, do as you wish
Hadith 1316
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رِبْعِيَّ بْنَ حِرَاشٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسَ مِنْ كَلاَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ الأُولَى: إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “From the words of the first Prophethood that people have received is this: If you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish.”
