بَابُ نَتْفِ الإِبْطِ
Plucking armpit hair
Hadith 1292
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ: الْخِتَانُ، وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأظْفَارِ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Five things are from the natural disposition: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, trimming the moustache, and cutting the nails."
Hadith 1293
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: الْخِتَانُ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ، وَنَتْفُ الضَّبْعِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ.“
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Five things are from the natural disposition: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, trimming the nails, plucking the armpit hair, and trimming the mustache."
Hadith 1294
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: تَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ، وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ، وَالْخِتَانُ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Five things are from the natural disposition (fitrah): "Trimming the nails, cutting the moustache, plucking the hair from the armpits, shaving the pubic hair, and circumcision."
