بَابُ ضَمِّ الصِّبْيَانِ عِنْدَ فَوْرَةِ الْعِشَاءِ
Chapter: Bringing children in at nightfall
Hadith 1231
حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”كُفُوًا صِبْيَانَكُمْ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ فَحْمَةُ، أَوْ فَوْرَةُ، الْعِشَاءِ، سَاعَةَ تَهَبُّ الشَّيَاطِينُ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep your children close to you until the early part of the evening passes. This is the time when the devils spread out."
