بَابُ: هَلْ يُدْلِي رِجْلَيْهِ إِذَا جَلَسَ؟
Chapter: Should one dangle his legs when sitting?
Hadith 1195
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي حَائِطٍ عَلَى قُفِّ الْبِئْرِ، مُدَلِّيًا رِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْبِئْرِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting in a garden on the edge of a well, with his feet dangling into the well.
