بَابُ : أَيْنَ يَضَعُ نَعْلَيْهِ إِذَا جَلَسَ؟
Chapter: Where to place shoes when sitting
Hadith 1190
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: مِنَ السُّنَّةِ إِذَا جَلَسَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَخْلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ، فَيَضَعُهُمَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: The Sunnah is that when a man sits, he should take off his shoes and place them by his side.
