It is narrated from Sa'id Maqbari (may Allah have mercy on him) that I passed by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) while he was standing and talking with a man. I also stood by them, so he struck my chest and said: When you see two men talking, do not stand by them or sit with them without their permission. I said: Abu Abdur Rahman! May Allah do good to you, I only stood here hoping to hear something good from you.
