It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that he disliked looking at a Muslim brother with sharp eyes. Similarly, when he got up to leave, he disliked watching him from behind (to see where he was going). He also disliked asking, "Where have you come from and where are you going?"

It is narrated from Malik bin Zubayd, may Allah have mercy on him, that we passed by the place of Rabdhah near Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, so he asked: Where have you come from? We said: We are coming from Makkah or Bayt al-Atiq. He said: Was that your only purpose? We said: Yes. He said: Was there no other purpose of trade or buying and selling along with it? We said: No. He said: Now start your deeds afresh (Allah has forgiven all previous sins).
