Hadith 1118
It is narrated from Aisha bint Talha, may Allah have mercy on her, that I said to Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, while I was under her care. People from all corners of the world used to come to her. Elderly gentlemen would come to me one by one because they knew that I was her servant, and young students would approach me like sisters and send me gifts, and people from different cities would write letters to me, so I would inform Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. "Aunt, this is so-and-so's letter and gift," so Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, would say to me: "Daughter! Reply to the letter and return a gift for the present, and if you do not have anything to give in return for the gift, then I will give it." She says that then she would give it to me.
