بَابُ الاسْتِئْذَانِ فِي حَوَانِيتِ السُّوقِ
Chapter: Seeking permission in market shops
Hadith 1098
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لاَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَى بُيُوتِ السُّوقِ.
It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did not seek permission to enter the shops in the market.
Hadith 1099
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ فِي ظُلَّةِ الْبَزَّازِ.
It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to seek permission before entering the canopies of cloth sellers.
