بَابُ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ فَقِيلَ: ادْخُلْ بِسَلامٍ
Chapter: If told "Enter with peace"
Hadith 1088
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ، فَقِيلَ: ادْخُلْ بِسَلاَمٍ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهِمْ.
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Jad'an (may Allah have mercy on him) that I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). He sought permission to enter from the people of a house, and the reply came: Enter in peace. He refused to enter.
