كتاب الاستئذانBook of Asking Permission
بَابُ إِذَا نَظَرَ بِغَيْرِ إِذَنٍ تُفْقَأُ عَيْنُهُ
Chapter: If one looks without permission, his eye may be gouged
Hadith 1068
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”لَوْ اطَّلَعَ رَجُلٌ فِي بَيْتِكَ، فَخَذَفْتَهُ بِحَصَاةٍ فَفَقَأْتَ عَيْنَهُ، مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ جُنَاحٌ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a person peeps into your house, and you throw a pebble at him and put out his eye, there is no sin upon you."
Hadith 1069
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمًا يُصَلِّي، فَاطَّلَعَ رَجُلٌ فِي بَيْتِهِ، فَأَخَذَ سَهْمًا مِنْ كِنَانَتِهِ، فَسَدَّدَ نَحْوَ عَيْنَيْهِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was standing and offering prayer when a man peeped into his house. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took an arrow from his quiver and pointed it towards him (intending to pierce his eye).
