Chapter: What to say if one's leg goes numb
Hadith 964
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: خَدِرَتْ رِجْلُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: اذْكُرْ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْكَ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ.
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Sa’d (may Allah have mercy on him), he says that the foot of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) became numb, so a man said to him: "Mention the name of your most beloved person (and you will be cured)." He said: "Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
