Chapter: Disliking people standing and sitting for him

2 hadith
Hadith 960
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that in Madinah Tayyibah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell from a horse onto the trunk of a date-palm tree, which caused a sprain in his blessed foot. We used to visit the upper room of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to inquire about the health of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Once, when we came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying while sitting. We prayed standing. Then, when we came again, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was offering the obligatory prayer while sitting, and we prayed standing behind him. During the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured for us to sit down. When he finished the prayer, he said: "When the Imam prays sitting, you should also pray sitting, and when he prays standing, you should also pray standing. Do not remain standing while the Imam is sitting, as the people of Persia do for their elders."

Hadith 961
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that a child was born to a man from the Ansar, and he named him Muhammad. The Ansar said: We will not call you by the Kunya of Allah’s Messenger until we sit on the road to ask you about the Hour. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Have you come to ask me about the Hour?” We said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There is no living soul that will complete one hundred years (but the Hour will come upon it).” We said: A child has been born to an Ansari, and he has named him Muhammad, so the Ansar have said to him that we will never call you by the Kunya of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), (i.e., we will not call you Abu al-Qasim). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The Ansar have done well. Name after my name, but do not take my Kunya.”
