It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the noble son of the noble son of the noble son of the noble is Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ishaq, son of Ibrahim."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My friends on the Day of Resurrection will be the pious, even if someone else's lineage is closer to me than theirs. Let it not be that people come to me with their deeds, while you come carrying the world on your necks and say: O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), help us! Then I will refuse in this manner: Go away, go away." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to both sides and gestured.

Hadith Takhrij«حسن : أخرجه ابن أبى عاصم فى السنة : 213 و الطبراني فى تهذيب الآثار : 434 و البيهقي فى الزهد : 882 - أنظر الصحيحة : 765»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: In my opinion, no one acts upon this noble verse: «يَاأَيُّهَاالنَّاسُإِنَّاخَلَقْنَاكُمْمِنْذَكَرٍوَأُنْثَىٰوَجَعَلْنَاكُمْشُعُوبًاوَقَبَائِلَلِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّأَكْرَمَكُمْعِنْدَاللَّهِأَتْقَاكُمْ»[الحجرات: 13] "O people! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may recognize one another. Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you." Now a man says to another: "I am more honorable than you," whereas without piety, no one is more honorable or noble than another.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: Whom do you consider to be honorable and noble? Allah Almighty has clarified what honor is. Thus, the most honorable among you in the sight of Allah is the one who is most pious. Whom do you count as noble? The one whose character is the best is the highest in honor and nobility.
