Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should say, 'My soul has become impure,' but rather say, 'My soul has become disturbed.'"

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunaif, may Allah be pleased with him, that he relates from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "None of you should say, 'My soul has become evil,' but rather say: 'My soul and temperament have become disturbed.'" Imam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Aqil has narrated it in a musnad form.
