بَابُ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ
Chapter: Whoever Wakes Up Safe in His Home
Hadith 300
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَرْحُومٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي شُمَيْلَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ الْقُبَائِيِّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”مَنْ أَصْبَحَ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ، مُعَافًى فِي جَسَدِهِ، عِنْدَهُ طَعَامُ يَوْمِهِ، فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubaydullah bin Mihsan Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Whoever begins the morning in a state where he is secure regarding himself and his family, healthy in body, and has food for one day, it is as if he possesses the whole world."
