It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the souls of two believers meet each other from a distance of one day's journey, even though neither of them has seen his companion."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: Blessings are taken for granted, ties of kinship are severed, and we have not seen any affection like the closeness of hearts.
