بَابُ قَوْلِ الْمَعْرُوفِ
Chapter: Speaking Good Words
Hadith 231
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ العَبَّاسِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ.“
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Yazid Khatmi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every good deed is charity."
Hadith 232
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالشَّيْءِ يَقُولُ: ”اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى فُلاَنَةٍ، فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ صَدِيقَةَ خَدِيجَةَ. اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى بَيْتِ فُلاَنَةٍ، فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُحِبُّ خَدِيجَةَ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Thabit, may Allah be pleased with him, that when something was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he would say: "Take this to such-and-such woman because she was a friend of Khadijah; take this to the house of such-and-such woman because she loved Khadijah."
Hadith 233
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ نَبِيُّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every good deed is charity."
