بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرِ النَّاسَ
Chapter: Whoever Does Not Thank People
Hadith 218
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”لَا يَشْكُرُ اللَّهُ مَنْ لاَ يَشْكُرُ النَّاسَ.“
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He does not thank Allah who does not thank the people."
Hadith 219
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لِلنَّفَسِ: اخْرُجِي، قَالَتْ: لاَ أَخْرُجُ إِلاَّ كَارِهَةً.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty says to a soul: 'Come out,' it says: 'I will not come out except with reluctance.'"
