بَابُ قُبْلَةِ الصِّبْيَانِ
Chapter: Kissing Children
Hadith 90
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: أَتُقَبِّلُونَ صِبْيَانَكُمْ؟ فَمَا نُقَبِّلُهُمْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”أَوَ أَمْلِكُ لَكَ أَنْ نَزَعَ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِكَ الرَّحْمَةَ؟۔“
Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Do you kiss your children? We do not kiss them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "What can I do if Allah has removed mercy from your heart?"
Hadith 91
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَبَّلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَعِنْدَهُ الأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ جَالِسٌ، فَقَالَ الأَقْرَعُ: إِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: ”مَنْ لا يَرْحَمُ لا يُرْحَمُ.“
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissed Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), and at that time Aqra’ bin Habis at-Tamimi was also present. He said: I have ten sons, and I have never kissed any of them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked towards him and then said: “He who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”
