بَابُ حَمْلِ الصَّبِيِّ عَلَى الْعَاتِقِ
Chapter: Carrying a Child on the Shoulder
Hadith 86
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ يَقُولُ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَسَنُ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: ”اللَّهُمَّ، إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ (bin Azib) رضي الله عنه, he says: I saw the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that he had Sayyiduna Hasan رضي الله عنه lifted on his shoulder, and he was saying: “O Allah! I love him, so You also love him.”
