It is narrated from Ali bin Rabah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Ju'sham (may Allah be pleased with him): "Shall I not inform you of the greatest charity?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Your daughter who returns (after divorce or after the death of her husband), for whom there is no earner except you—when you spend on her, that is the greatest charity."
