بَابُ عُُقُوْبَةِ قَاطِعِ الرَّحِمِ فِي الدُّنْيَا
Chapter: Punishment for Severing Kinship in This World
Hadith 67
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَحْرَى أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ اللَّهُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، مِنْ قَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ وَالْبَغْيِ.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no sin greater than severing ties of kinship and rebellion, for which Allah hastens the punishment in this world for its perpetrator, and along with that, keeps its punishment in the Hereafter as well."
