Hadith 923

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A Muslim has four rights over another Muslim: when he falls ill, visit him; when he dies, attend his funeral; when he invites you, accept his invitation; and when he sneezes, respond to him."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
In some narrations, six rights are mentioned, here four are mentioned, and in the next narration, seven rights are mentioned. There is no contradiction in this, because each narrator mentioned according to his knowledge: sometimes the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) mentioned four, sometimes six, and sometimes more. Each one reported what he heard.
