Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues: A person's own nobility and that of his forefathers is called lineage (hasab). One in whom every kind of goodness and virtue is gathered is called noble (karim). The greatness and nobility of a family depend on faith (iman) and piety (taqwa); however, if someone possesses family honor and dignity along with faith and piety, then this is, in any case, an additional virtue. Sayyiduna Yusuf (alayhis salam) was one who possessed all these qualities.
